I actually used photoshop to make the whole thing. If you'd like an instructive place to learn how to make one, you can go here [link]


And where you start is up to you. I sketched mine out first, figured out the pose I wanted, what the portrait would've looked like and then went back to detail/pixelate. It took a LONG time...my hand was cramped a lot. So much pixelating! o.O

Hi. I absolutely LOVE you're gallery. I'm big Harry Potter fan too. I like you're pixel art ID. I was wondering, do you make the whole thing on photoshop, or just the smaller character, or none of it? I was thinking about making one and I don't really know where to start. Well in that case lol I have tons of ideas! (mostly hp related) first could be the scene in HBP when Hermione is in an empty classroom and Ron and "lav lav" come in etc etc. another is the scene in HBP (sorry) when ROn and Ginny go at it after the quidditch game. And a last one could be when the trio first meets the famous Luna Lovegood. Just a few ideas for ya feel no obligation what so ever. Thanks!

Ahh, I'm working on one or two things, one request from a friend. I've never done any commissions before (mostly 'cause anything requested is HP related and I don't feel right getting paid for someone elses characters).
