You really do some delightful things with soft colors!
I love how her hair only stands out by so much.
But that change in color is just enough to draw my eyes to her.

I don't think I'll ever tire of the things he does. He's such an incredible story teller. A friend of mine and I are planning a marathon, though we have to get a few of his older things. Haha, we're gonna wait till Ponyo is out I think. What's your favorite of his movies?

And thank you

God, that is such a difficult question! I don't know, his work is really extense.. I adore Spirited away and My neighbor Totoro, but The Thomb of the Fireflies.. is.. wow.. It's such a strong movie, I could barely watch it all complete, but it's.. gah you MUST watch it if you haven't!

You mean you haven't seen Ponyo yet? That's odd.. I thought it had already come out!

It was out in theaters a few months ago, and I have seen it. I just meant when it's out on DVD we're having a marathon.
I haven't seen Grave of the Fireflies, but that isn't Miyazaki, that's Isao Takahata. They are similar if you compare the 2, or so I've heard. I've heard amazing things about that movie though.

Ohrly? well in the planet where I live those kinda movies never make it to the theatres.. so, yeah.
Wow, I always thought it was Miyazaki's work! They're quite alike!
Really, it's a must see, but be prepared to sob your soul out hah.

His movies hardly ever make it to theaters here, and when they do it's for a very limited time. Ponyo was in theaters for maybe a couple weeks. Where do you live that is so deprived of Miyazaki?

I've heard that it's horribly depressing and I'll weep uncontrollably. Perhaps that's why I've hesitated to watch it haha

Wow, sorry for the ridiculously late response, This message was soon buried by a massive attack of "You're welcome" responses :fear:

Not only for Miyazaki, but also CULTURE in general, that is Mexico City, not that I complain at all, I just wished more interesting stuff happened here :I

Well, maybe you will (at least that is what I did ) but you shouldn't miss such a work of art :3
